Overview

As Marketing Manager at Kinross House Estate, a luxury hospitality estate on the shores of Loch Leven, I led the marketing and brand activity across the business, including accommodation, events and spa. My role combined strategic planning and hands-on execution, developing campaigns, content, and partnerships to position Kinross House as one of Scotland’s premier destinations for private stays and exclusive events.

The Brief

Kinross House required a refreshed marketing approach to better reflect its exceptional guest experience and heritage. The goal was to elevate brand visibility, strengthen digital presence, and ensure cohesive storytelling across all channels - from social and web to PR and on-site materials.

My Role

Developed and implemented the annual marketing strategy and content calendar.

  • Managed relationships with external design, PR, and digital partners to ensure brand consistency.

  • Oversaw production of photography and video to support sales and brand storytelling.

  • Delivered integrated campaigns to promote private hire and wellness retreats.

  • Rebranded with an external agency to create a brand more in line with the estate’s luxury positioning and guest experience.

The Outcome

During my tenure, Kinross House achieved stronger brand recognition and improved engagement across digital platforms. Marketing outputs became more refined, consistent, and aligned with the estate’s premium positioning, supporting both guest enquiries and brand partnerships. I also facilitated Kinross House’s membership with Walpole, the official sector body for British luxury, and utilised this network by attending regular industry events and brand development sessions to strengthen visibility and connections within the luxury market.
